Student Section of the Year Announced

The National Collegiate Student Section Association (NCSSA) does a March Madness inspired poll where they put schools head-to-head to compete for the loudest and proudest school section across the nation, marketed with the hashtag #LoudAndProud.

The poll began with creating the Sweet Sixteen on March 14-17 and would continue on for another three weeks with the categories of: Final Four, Final Two and Championship.

After eliminating 12 schools, they were left with the Final Four, consisting of the University of Florida, University of Buffalo, University of Nebraska at Omaha and University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

The Florida Gators were defending their 2016 title of the Student Section of the Year, but could not make it the Final Two where the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska – Lincoln would go head-to-head as state schools of Nebraska.

On April 4th, the best student section was announced on Twitter and it went to University of Nebraska at Omaha for 2017!
