NFL Draft 2017

With the NFL Draft coming at the end of the month everyone is wondering who is going to end up where. It is a college football player’s dream to declare their spot in the draft and get picked by a NFL team in the spring.

The most sought out football player in this draft is defensive end, Myles Garrett, from Texas A&M. It is likely that the Cleveland Browns will draft Garrett as they have the first pick of the NFL Draft this year.

However, I would be looking where Leonard Fournette (LSU), Deshaun Watson (Clemson) and Jarrad Davis (Florida) go in the first round due to the nature that these have been three players I have seen play with heart in the past two years as I started getting into collegiate football.

I will also be looking closely at the Dallas Cowboys pick as they are in dire need of defensive players such as a defensive end, right tackle, cornerback and strong safety. In my opinion, I would like them see draft a wide receiver and tight end because I believe Dez Bryant won’t stay long in Dallas and Jason Witten, despite his four-year long contract with the Cowboys, needs a good second-strand that can be developed with the team and ready to take Witten’s role when he retires.

Watch the NFL Draft from April 27-29, 2017 on ESPN, ESPN2 and the NFL Network and track the picks on their website.
